Who do we think we are

We’re Raguthra (Rah-guh-thruh) Studios, an Australian indie game company.

We bring diverse experience and a healthy amount of nonsense to the game development world, ready to tell you a story that you’ll remember, or at least will make you go “huh, cool”.

Raguthra began, as all good things do, as a tale about townsfolk blindly worshipping a deity called "The Eye of Raguthra".

This story, told over text chat, quickly grew into an entire Raguthra universe. The eyeball took on a form (and grew tentacles) and after a brief stint as an oracle, it became our logo.

cOZY COMBAT

Cozy Combat is our way of keeping combat engaging but stress-free. Instead of overwhelming you with combos, weapon switching, and precision timing, we’ve built a light, luck-based combat system that focuses on quick decisions, simple mechanics, and player choice.

Think of it like this:

  • No frantic button-mashing - just strategic movement and well-timed encounters.

  • One-hit KOs for enemies - but the trade-off is that they might hit you first.

  • Minimal risk, maximum reward - you can engage with enemies or simply avoid them.

This system ensures that fighting feels satisfying but never punishing.
